WHY I'M RUNNING
Our neighborhoods need an effective advocate on Council. I've been living, working, and making a difference in the 5th District for over fifteen years. As your Council Member, I will put my experience to work for you. I will keep you informed, make effective policies on the issues that matter, and make sure your voice is heard!
HOUSING
All families deserve a safe and healthy home they can afford. Christian has worked in housing and community development for over 25 years. She will use her experience to make fair and effective policies to improve our housing, expand homeownership, bring vacant properties back into use, and strengthen our neighborhoods.
COMMUNITY SAFETY
The 5th District is facing many challenging issues like homelessness, vacant properties, addiction and crime. Christian knows we need long-term solutions and that Council members have to lead in bringing people and resources together. She will bring her experience engaging people, community-based organizations, and all levels of government to work together to stabilize our neighborhoods and save lives.
PARKS & STREETS
We need to beautify our parks and make our streets safe so our communities are good places to live and raise our families. Christian knows what it takes to involve residents in big projects and how to use planning and government to make them a reality. She will work with you to identify community-driven projects to restore the public spaces of the city we love!​
