COMMUNITY SAFETY 

The 5th District is facing challenging issues including homelessness and addiction. As part of the Health, Environment, Aging and Disabilities Committee, I will be working with the Homelessness Subcommittee to develop policies to address these issues. I'm also advocating for investing the resources needed to stabilize our communities and save lives. 

BETTER PARKS AND YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Residents have moved mountains to improve and maintain the public spaces of the city we love. I'm working with residents across the 5th District on projects to make the green spaces they care about better, from restoring street trees to rebuilding the community garden at the Rodney Reservoir. I'm also supporting expanding city investment in youth activities to give our youth the opportunities they need to achieve their potential. LEARN MORE

FINE AND FEE REFORM 

For too long, Wilmington has been using fines and fees - like parking tickets! - as a way to generate revenue. Fines and fees should be used for enforcing regulations and paying for services, not generating revenue. I'm working hard to make sure Wilmington's budgeting process is fair, efficient, and sustainable. LEARN MORE
